SavingsMath is a free set of savings and investment calculators that show how money could grow over time, and what fees, tax, rising prices and market ups and downs take from it along the way. It is published by reactera s.r.o., a company registered in Slovakia.

Why this site exists

Most compound interest calculators are a form, a Calculate button and a table. We wanted one that makes the idea visible: the moment interest starts to outgrow what you put in, how much a small fee costs over decades, what your savings would be worth in today’s money, and how long a pot could pay for retirement.

The site is meant to help you understand the arithmetic of saving. It does not tell you what to do with your money.

What we do and do not do

  • Educational only. Every result is an illustration based on the assumptions you choose. Nothing on this site is investment, tax, legal or pension advice. Read the full disclaimer.

  • No products to sell. We do not sell financial products or manage money.

  • No sign-up. The calculator works without an account. Your inputs stay in your browser and in the page address, so you can bookmark or share a plan. See our privacy policy.

  • How the site is funded. The site is free, shows no ads and sets no cookies. It may later earn a commission from links to interest accounts and brokers. A commission never changes the calculator’s results or what our pages say, and we never name or rank specific financial products.

How we keep the numbers honest

  • Every formula is published on the methodology page.
  • The calculations are covered by automated tests, including reference cases from well-known published calculators.
  • Fees, tax, inflation and market risk can each be switched on, so the result is never shown as rosier than the assumptions behind it.
  • Each page shows when it was last reviewed. Translations are reviewed by native speakers before a language goes live.
